Lynn Biederman has worked as a waitress (best job ever), insurance broker (worst), Macy’s department manager (the discounts!), child abuse litigator (heartbreaking), adoption lawyer (most rewarding), journalist for a nationally syndicated sounds-of-nature radio show (very cool), and a librarian (biggest inspiration for writing). The opening line of her co-authored novel, UNRAVELING, (Random House, 2008), came from a saying she pulled out of a fortune cookie three years ago-The smart thing is to prepare for the unexpected. It made her think about her prom, and her mom, and that no matter how you try to prepare for the unexpected, sometimes you just can't. Her second novel will be released in the fall of 2010.
